Oryx Green Adriatic Blue
Oryx Green Adriatic Blue (OGAB) an ambition and plan for EU industry decarbonisation — is a strategic initiative developed by ECUBES, aimed at delivering green hydrogen to Europe at fossil fuel price, without subsidies, by 2033.
Acting as an integrator, ECUBES unites hydrogen off-takers, technology partners, infrastructure investors and EU institutions to create a complete and sustainable value chain. With an established network of European off-takers and innovative solutions for hydrogen storage and transport, we are paving the way for safe, efficient, and affordable hydrogen logistics across the continent.
OGAB enjoys formal endorsement by the European Commission and the governments of Slovenia, Croatia, and the Italian Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, collectively representing the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley.
With these partners, the project aims to import 2 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2033, representing 12% of the EU’s former gas imports from Russia and enabling a reduction of 50 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year.
