NAHV 2.0
The ECUBES Clean Energy Alliance (NAHV 2.0) aims to integrate innovative solutions developed within the Hydrogen Ecosystem North Adriatic into diverse urban and industrial contexts. It also seeks to establish a comprehensive plan for replicating successful business models across other innovation ecosystems within the EU.
The initiative focuses on green hydrogen technologies and their applications across target value chains, emphasizing acceleration strategies, scaling-up processes, and effective collaboration, engagement, and governance mechanisms. These approaches have already been tested and validated through previous initiatives in the Hydrogen Ecosystem North Adriatic — including NAHV, NACHIP, NASCHA, and H2Ready. The economic and social frameworks guiding these actions are grounded in the Quadruple Helix model, which also serves as the foundation for the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley.
Through this initiative, NAHV 2.0 aims to create conditions for integrating solutions for the production, conversion, transmission, storage, and utilization of renewable hydrogen in urban and industrial areas. The goal is to facilitate the adoption of the most suitable innovations and to enhance the bankability and industrial scalability of related business models.
Additionally, NAHV 2.0 will develop a comprehensive replicability plan for pilot solutions, supported by a feasibility study assessing their integration into other urban and industrial areas within the Hydrogen Ecosystem North Adriatic. The plan will also explore synergies and potential replication opportunities with emerging hydrogen valleys and hubs across Europe — such as the BalticSeaH2 Valley, HI2 (Vienna–Bratislava–Budapest), and the Chemnitz Hydrogen Hub, among others.
Join us in bringing affordable green energy on demand to European industry and households.
